Titanium GRADE 23
Alpha-beta alloy GRADE 23 can be considered the most used and demanded of the titans of European manufacturers. The material is similar to the metal of the fifth grade. However, the oxygen, iron and nitrogen components are somewhat smaller here, which provides greater viscosity and ductility.
Special properties
Considering how much titanium is, the GRADE 23 presented should have very decent characteristics, which is completely true. The metal is distinguished by convincing strength, low weight, good resistance to corrosion manifestations, high hardness. Heat treatment is allowed.
castings, wire, rings, rods and forgings.
Applications
Given its significant strength, durability and biological inertness, GRADE 23 can be used for medical purposes, for the manufacture surgical instruments, various implants, staples, springs and so on. Sheets, rods, titanium pipes are used in Ukraine and in the chemical, mining, energy, aerospace industries, and are also in high demand in the light industry.
