General Technical Characteristics

Stainless steel 1.4952 / AISI 309Ti is a heat-resistant austenitic corrosion-resistant steel with high chromium and nickel content, stabilized with titanium. This grade is designed for operation at elevated temperatures and in aggressive environments where high resistance to oxidation and thermal loads is required.

Due to the addition of titanium, AISI 309Ti exhibits increased resistance to intergranular corrosion, especially after welding and during prolonged exposure to high temperatures. The steel maintains its strength and structural stability at temperatures up to 900–1000°C.

Stainless steel 1.4952 is widely used in power engineering, metallurgy, and the chemical industry for manufacturing components operating under high-temperature conditions.
