Stainless steel AISI 440B / EN 1.4112 / 95Х18МФ
Stainless steel grade AISI 440B is one of the most popular due to the combination of rather attractive characteristics and affordable price. The marking of stainless steel indicates that it belongs to the martensitic carbon grades, which have moderate corrosion resistance, good hardness, sufficient strength and wear resistance. Roukvela, corresponds to 58 units. This indicator provides carbon, the content of which in steel is 0.9%. At the same time, stainless steel contains 18% chromium, which provides higher resistance to corrosion compared to other grades of steel of this class.
Steel can be processed by hot forging or by chip removal. Welding of individual elements made of AISI 440B / EN 1.4112 / 95X18MF steel is not recommended.
Applications
Stainless steel rolled metal is used for the manufacture of rolling bearings, parts of various machines and equipment in mechanical engineering, cutting tools , fasteners, equipment in the chemical and food industries.
