General Technical Characteristics
Sheet steel grades Q460C, Q460D, and Q460E are high-strength low-alloy structural steels produced according to the Chinese standard GB/T 1591. These grades feature a high yield strength (minimum 460 MPa), good weldability, and resistance to dynamic loads.
The main difference between the grades lies in impact toughness and test temperature:
- Q460C — tested at 0°C
- Q460D — tested at -20°C
- Q460E — tested at -40°C
