Steel 68NHVKTYu
A-Sintez sells steel grade 68NHVKTYu, which is a nickel-chromium precision alloy with specified elasticity properties.
The basis of the alloy is nickel, which accounts for up to 63.5%. The content of chromium can reach 20%, tungsten – up to 10.5%, titanium – up to 3.2%, aluminum – up to 1.8%.
Alloy properties
Precision alloys of the 68NHVKTYu brand are distinguished by significant corrosion resistance, under external atmospheric conditions, in contact with aviation fuel, liquid metal eutectic, with temperatures up to 500 degrees, and other aggressive environments.
A material with a thickness of 0.1 to 0.3 millimeters has satisfactory weldability when using contact or electric arc welding.
When hot, steel has a satisfactory ductility.
Hardened alloy can be sheet forged.
Applications
Heat-resistant steels 68NHVKTYU are used in the production of power springs of any type, elastic non-magnetic sensitive elements, structural parts of devices and instruments, including aircraft, operating at temperatures from -196 to +500 degrees .
