Steel sheet S 460N DIN EN 10025-3
Sheet steel, grade S 460N, produced in full compliance with the European standard EN 10025-3, refers to hot-rolled fine-grained structural steels of ordinary quality, normalized by rolling at temperatures up to 900 degrees, followed by cooling under natural temperature conditions.
It is possible to order sheet steel S 460N for the production of shaped steel, the conditions for further operation of which require high strength and resistance to low temperatures.
Special Properties
The price of sheet steel of this grade is fully consistent with its performance characteristics, determined by:
– sufficiently high yield strength, at the level of 460 megapixels, at natural temperature;
– significant impact strength, with an indicator of 55 joules at a temperature of +20 degrees, and 40 joules at a temperature of -20 degrees Destructuring under shock loads can occur at a temperature of -50 degrees;
– density 7.85 grams per cubic centimeter;
– excellent weldability, no restrictions.
Areas of application
You can buy S 460N steel for use in the construction industry, including for the manufacture of underwater structures, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, and energy.
