AISI 430F / 1.4104
Stainless steel AISI 430F is a stainless ferritic alloy with a high sulfur content. Like other analogues, the alloy has an increased resistance to corrosion processes due to the high content of chromium alloying additives.
However, the sulfur present in the composition somewhat reduces the resistance of steel to corrosion and aggressive environments, so it is mainly used to solve a general
range of tasks.
Features
Steel of this grade is usually not weldable. If necessary, friction welding or friction welding is used. Forging is carried out with care by gradual heating to 800°C and subsequent rapid heating to 1100°C.
When processing on lathes, it is necessary to adhere to a certain rotation speed for high-quality processing and uniform chip removal.
Application
A stainless steel pipe is made of steel, the price of which is more than affordable in our company. Sheet, rod and fittings are widely demanded. We will tell you how much stainless steel costs and help you choose the best option for your goals and objectives. Experienced specialists will answer any questions and advise if necessary.
