AISI 317LMN / 1.4439
This product fully complies with the international AISI standard. Steel has a complex composition of chromium, molybdenum, nickel alloys, as well as nitrogen components, which allows:
Improve corrosion resistance;
increase the service life in any operating conditions of products based on this steel grade;
ensure the required ductility.
Steel of this grade versatility, improved strength and resistance to pitting and surface corrosion.
Purpose and application
AISI 317L can be used in both neutral environments, and in rooms with a high concentration of vapors of acids and alkalis. Increased resistance to the destructive effects of aggressive environments determined the scope of such steel.
It is used for:
production of medical equipment and surgical instruments ;
· manufacture of equipment for the needs of the food and pharmaceutical industries;
· construction of load-bearing welded structures;
production of welding wire;
petrochemical needs and so on.
Features
Steel of this brand successfully resists the effects of organic acids, chloride media, and salty sea water. A protective film of insoluble compounds on the surface of steel makes it possible to withstand even short-term exposure to concentrated acids.
Steel perfectly “tolerates” critically high and low temperatures, retaining all its characteristics. Does not cause allergic reactions, does not evaporate harmful volatile substances when heated.
