General Characteristics
Steel 1.3302 (HS 12-1-4) is a high-speed steel with high hardness, thermal resistance, and wear resistance. Due to its chemical composition, it is widely used for the production of cutting tools that operate under high loads and temperatures.

- Carbon (C): 1.20 – 1.40
- Tungsten (W): 11.50 – 12.50
- Molybdenum (Mo): 0.50 – 1.00
- Chromium (Cr): 3.80 – 4.50
- Vanadium (V): 3.50 – 4.50
- Manganese (Mn): ≤ 0.40
- Silicon (Si): ≤ 0.40
- Cobalt (Co): 9.00 – 10.50
- Phosphorus (P): ≤ 0.030
- Sulfur (S): ≤ 0.030
Mechanical Properties
- Hardness after heat treatment: 64-67 HRC
- Tensile strength: up to 2500 MPa
- Yield strength: up to 2200 MPa
