Nickel alloy Nimonic 80A / EN 2.4952 / EN 2.4630
Nimonic 80 A is the closest alloy in terms of its parameters and characteristics to the similar NІMONIC 75. The main difference – hardening with dispersed aluminum and titanium particles.
Features
Nimonic 80A nickel alloy is distinguished by the highest resistance to any corrosion processes, due to the presence in composition of chromium additives. Titanium alloying enhances strength, aluminum additives improve ductility and provide ease of processing.
The alloy has excellent corrosion resistance (including surface, crevice and pitting corrosion). Does not oxidize in any environment, including alkaline and acid. It is characterized by the highest strength, resistant to rupture and deformation.
Resists “fatigue” strength of steel during operation in the most extreme operating conditions.
Application
The price of stainless steel depends on the form of release (steel sheet, rebar, circle, strip, wire, and so on). Due to its excellent performance and parameters, the alloy is used in the production of components for gas and steam turbines, fasteners, shut-off valves.
Knives, rings and washers, connecting and locking elements are made from it fittings, valves in internal combustion engines, as well as boiler tube components, high temperature springs, and more.
