Features and applications
Inconel 690 alloy is characterized by a high content of such an element, like chrome. This guarantees excellent water corrosion resistance. In addition, products based on Inconel 690 are resistant to the most common acids and alkalis, including the most aggressive nitric acid.
Excellent anti-corrosion properties, increased strength, excellent metallurgical parameters, the ability to simple processing and welding makes the use of the alloy economically justified. The composition of steel also contains such a component of heat-resistant alloys as cobalt, which makes it possible to use it in nuclear power engineering and industry.
The main scope of application is the production of steam generator pipes, thermal installations and equipment.
