Galvanized flanges EN 1092-1 and ASME B 16.5
The galvanized flange is produced in accordance with the American standard ASME B 16.5, 98% adapted to international standards, and the European standard EN 1092-1. Their action extends to cast, forged products and made of sheet steel.
Types and features
According to EN 1092-1 and ASME B 16.5 standards, galvanized steel flange is available:
– nominal size (NPS) from ½ to 24 inches;
– with a class of characteristics from 150 to 2500, which determines the range of operating temperatures and withstanding pressure. The latter indicator is in the range from 1.03 to 17.24 megapascals;
– form of production. Galvanized flange can be bought flat welded, threaded, collar, welded overlap, welded with a cavity. These can be elbows, tees and cruciform products.
Areas of use
Galvanized steel products of various types, made according to EN 1092-1 and ASME B 16.5 standards, are widely used to form pipelines for various purposes used in construction, food industry, utilities, oil and gas industry and many other industrial fields.
