Electrotechnical steel 2011 / M800-50A
Steel grade 2011 – electrotechnical sulfur alloy with unregulated chemical composition standards. The chemical composition can be determined by the manufacturer, at the request of the customer. The iron sheet contains up to 99% iron and up to 0.4% silicon, indicating the magnetic characteristics of the alloy.
Special properties
Steel 2011 is produced without heat treatment for magnetic properties and without a special coating. Due to the low silicon content, it stands out for its low relative magnetic permeability, significant magnetic losses and high saturation induction.
Due to the lack of shortage of components, the price of a strip or sheet of steel is affordable.
Cold-rolled steel grade 2011 is an isotropic material with a granular non-oriented structure. Special requirements are imposed on the surface of rolled products in terms of smoothness, the absence of corrosion manifestations, cracks, scale and shells.
Applications
The low price per metal sheet provides the 2011 alloy with considerable demand in the production of various elements of magnetic circuits for electrical appliances, machines and other electrical equipment.
