Electrotechnical steel 2111 / M700-50A
Steel grade 2111 belongs to the group of electrical sulphurous alloys with non-regulated chemical composition standards. The chemical composition can be determined by the manufacturer, in agreement with the customer. The alloy contains up to 99% iron and 0.4 to 0.8% silicon, which indicates the magnetic characteristics of the alloy.
Special properties
The steel sheet grade 2111 is represented by cold-rolled sheet with a thickness of 0.65 and 0.5 millimeters. Produced in a heat-treated state for magnetic characteristics and without a special coating. At the same time, at the request of the customer, it is possible to buy a sheet of dynamo steel without heat treatment.
Due to the low silicon content, the alloy is characterized by low relative magnetic permeability, significant magnetic losses and high saturation induction.
Steel 2111 is an isotropic material with a grainy non-oriented structure.
Applications
The low price of sheet metal, grade 2111, as well as impressive electromagnetic properties, make it widely demanded in the production of components for magnetic circuits of various electrical appliances and machines.
