Alloy 52K10F
Steel grade 52K10F is a precision anisotropic magnetically hard alloy. The marking of alloys indicates a high content of cobalt, which accounts for up to 54% of the composition, and vanadium – up to 11.2%. In addition, the composition of the material includes iron, with a share of 38.2%, and some other elements, in a small amount.
Alloy properties
Magnetic metals grade 52K10F are highly resistant to external environments and corrosion manifestations, significant temperature changes, in the complete absence of any restrictions on minimum indicators, as well as a significant service life, in the form of ready-made elements with magnetic properties.
The magnetic properties of the material are manifested during cold deformation, from 0 to 90%, and tempering.
Welding can be performed without preheating and post-treatment. However, in case of operation at high temperatures, other conditions may apply.
Fields of application of the material
Heat-resistant steel grade 52K10F is used in production of small continuous magnets for various machinery and devices, as well as magnetic components of hysteresis motors.
