Alloy 49KF
Steel grade 49KF is a precision alloy based on iron and containing up to 50% cobalt. It is alloyed with vanadium, nickel, manganese, silicon, which determine the properties that permendur possesses.
Special properties
The alloy belongs to the group of magnetically soft materials with the properties of a ferromagnet, with low hysteresis losses. With insignificant values of coercive force, the 49KF permendur alloy is distinguished by a significant level of magnetic permeability.
The material is magnetized by displacement of domain walls. It is easy to magnetize and remagnetize.
Permendur can be bought in the form of cold-rolled strip, wire, hot- and cold-rolled sheets, forged and hot-rolled bars.
Applications
Permendur 49KF makes it possible to achieve the maximum level of induction using a minimum of energy, which is used in the production of transformers.
In electronics and electrical engineering, using the unique properties of the material, they produce magnets, solenoids, telephone membranes, magnetic screens, magnetic field sensors, integrated circuit elements, pulse transformers, chokes.
