Durostat 400, 450, 500 wear steel
Durostat low alloy carbon steel, grades 400, 450 and 500, belongs to a line of high strength and wear resistant metals widely used in many manufacturing industries.
Rolled steel can contain up to 0.30% carbon, up to 1% chromium, up to 0.5% molybdenum, up to 0.6% silicon and up to 2.1% manganese, which largely determine the properties of the material.
Special Properties
High-strength steel is resistant to wear, under the action of long-term static and considerable dynamic loads, has a fairly high yield strength , with an indicator of 1000-1300 megapascals. In addition, wear-resistant steel grades Durostat 400, 450 and 500 offer a good level of toughness.
The material well withstands significant mechanical, thermal and atmospheric influences, constant friction and contact with acids.
Applications

These unique properties are used in the production of load-bearing structures of various structures, industrial equipment, caterpillar tracks, crushers, tips for jackhammers, excavator buckets, and parts subjected to abrasive loads.
