Wear-resistant steel Abramax Mu, Abracorr 600
Fine-grain weldable wear-resistant steels, grades Abramax Mu and Abracorr 600, are especially suitable for solving the problems of severe abrasion during work, in conditions of high humidity and at temperatures up to 600 degrees.
Many properties of metals are determined by their chemical composition, which, in different proportions, includes silicon, magnesium, chromium, nickel, molybdenum and vanadium.
Special Features
Quality steel grades Abramax Mu and Abracorr 600, delivered in normalized condition. Normalization is performed at a temperature of 925 degrees. Hot forming can be carried out at a temperature not lower than this indicator.
Despite the rather high strength and hardness, steel is easily cold stamped.
The high content of chromium contributes to the formation, on the surface of the material, of a layer of refractory oxide, which must be removed when cutting metal. Welding can be carried out by conventional methods.
Applications
The price of sheet steel is fully justified by its unique properties. Abramax Mu, Abracorr 600 is successfully used in the production of equipment for metallurgical enterprises, cement plants, coal mining industry, special vehicles, structures operating in sea water and other aggressive environments.
