Steel sheet S 355 K2+N DIN EN 10025-2
Sheet steel, grade S 355 K2+N, produced according to European standard 10025-2, is a hot-rolled non-alloyed low-carbon structural steel of ordinary quality, distinguished by high strength. High-strength sheet is delivered after normalizing rolling (+N). It can be subjected to deformation, in a state of normalization or a hot state.
Special properties
S355K2+N steel is supplied as flat long products used for the production of long products and shapes.
Characterized :
– minimum yield strength of 355 megapascals, at ambient temperature;
– especially high fracture resistance. The sheet of steel is able to withstand impacts, with a force of up to 40 joules, at a temperature of -20 degrees;
– density 7.85 grams per cubic centimeter ;
– good weldability, both heated and and without heating.
Applications
It is possible to buy sheet metal, grade S355К2+N for the production of profiled products and individual parts used in civil and industrial construction, mechanical engineering, energy industry.
